VB.NET 2008程序运行错误 - 项目配置文件

我用VB.NET2008 EXPRESS版本写了一个程序，在win7的机器上运行的时候是没有问题的，我在个别运行XP的机器上关闭程序的时候收到一个错误提示窗口，内容如下。其实我的程序里面的退出按钮和关闭窗体的按钮就只有一行
Application.Exit()
没有任何其他的代码在里面，为啥一些XP是好的，一些又不是好的呢，搞不懂了哈。希望各位大侠指点一下。错误信息里面说是可以在项目的配置文件里面把类似这个提示关闭掉，但是我没有找到app.conf文件
